"A cute place at the edge of the woods with excellent food. Their Böfflamot comes with a sauce that is to die for plus Semmelknödel with bacon bits. Pure awesome. Plus the host is super-friendly. Reservations recommended. Go before 20:00 or the kitchen may start running out of things, and it'd be sad to miss the Böfflamot."

"I absolutely love this place. I've had both meat and vegetarian dishes here, and have never been disappointed. Everything on the menu is cooked fresh (except the kids' French fries). Truly an amazing 'slow food's restaurant. Opening hours can fluctuate depending on the day, though, so it's best to call and check that they're open if you're going out of your way to get there."

"An excellent place. Really delicious high-quality food, with some choice for vegetarians, a fresh interpretation of Bavarian cuisine, and a good service. A rare Bavarian restaurant that is not too conservative and does not exploit a "'peasant" atmosphere but is instead stylish and at the same time relaxed. A place where a 60-year old, a 30-year old and a 5-year old (great playground!) will all feel comfortable. It is worth coming to even if you don't live in the area and it is better to reserve a table a bit in advance."
